Groove's Faves: "The Apocalypse Child" by Conway, Buckler, and McLeod

Greetings, Groove-ophiles! It's been way too long since we last checked out an ish of Return of the New Gods, so lets jump back in with issue #15 (September 1977) and "The Apocalypse Child"! Written by Gerry Conway with art by Rich Buckler and Bob McLeod, this one's a shocker, Groove-ophiles! Can a New God truly die...?

  1. I never followed this revived series, apart from buying a few 'DC Dollar Comics' that some episodes appeared in (I think). I never regarded New Gods as Kirby's finest moment, but even back then, I doubted that anyone could do it better than him. (Unless Stan Lee got to script it.)
